There were also some fantastic match ups that had to be recorded. The highly anticipated light welterweight match was California’s Joshua Conley of San Bernardino against Michael Reed of Waldorf, Maryland. Joshua, 17, had a great run at the Golden Gloves with a win over Zeddie Adams of Cleveland, Ohio and losing a close bout with Mohamed Adam of Deerborn, Michigan.
